The famous lone tree stands proudly on the edge of Llyn Padarn as the mist floats above the water on a cool early morning. With no dramatic sky and the cloud inversion gone I thought I was in for a disappointing start to the day, thankfully the water remained relatively still allowing for a lovely reflection of the mountains and trees. The sun finally started to rise above the peaks of the Snowdon range creating a warm glow just as a couple of Mallard ducks flew over.
