An August evening sunset at Meols shore I was drawn to the rippling patterns of the sand, the last high tide had well gone but remnants of water remained reflecting the little sailing boats hull. The sky was quickly turning a delicate orange so I waited for the sun to set on the horizon and when it did it obligingly dropped over the boats bow.
